Song of the Conscripts directed by Chonglang Fan. During the Anshi Rebellion of the Tang Dynasty, Lashatuo couldn't bear to look directly at the tragic situation on the battlefield and fled. On his way home, he was starving and encountered a beggar who wanted to eat a baby. After rescuing the baby, he met a family and saw a woman with a slightly raised abdomen, which seemed to be pregnant. The woman Wang Hun gave Lashaduo a bowl of Congee. As the sky gradually darkened, Wang Hun summoned Lashatuo to the house and started chatting about his daily life. Unexpectedly, the identity of La Sha Tuo as a deserter had already been exposed, and the pursuers followed. La Sha Tuo fled, and Wang Hun hid the baby under his pillow, seducing the fat soldiers. La Sha Tuo saw the situation and killed him, but was knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he found everything intact. La Shatuo and Wang Hun had a mutual affection, randomly sharing the same bed. When he woke up again, he found that the room was in ruins, and Wang Hun had disappeared. The baby had already starved to death, so La Shatuo continued on his journey. Only then did lashatuo realize that Wang Hun was the soul of a bandit who had humiliated and committed suicide.

After mysterious apprehension, disappearance of her fiancée, Farhad, a young sculptor named Parvaneh moves to a house in a far-flung corner in the north of Iran. The few occupants of this area all seem to have moved here from somewhere else, each carrying their own secrets, and she lives with the hope of some news from him even though she is not even sure if he is still alive. The only thing that makes her happy is reading Farhad’s favorite books, which she records and publishes as audio books. A call from a friend as well as the local gallerist informs Parvaneh that some people have been looking for her. At the end, Farhad comes to where Parvaneh lives. It is unclear how much time has passed and what he has been through, but by the time he gets to Parvaneh’s house – as a metaphor for the homeland - the place is an empty ruin, covered in dust.
